116I get asked for diet and weight loss tips all the time – the answer isn’t really difficult, I mean there are 100’s if not 1000’s of things that you can do to drop a few kilograms or some body fat %. I could make this really complex and run you through a host of tests – but really if you cut out sugar from your diet you will actually be amazed with the results.

But you don’t eat sugar? Well I am not so sure about that let’s take a little deeper look – shall we?

If you eat any processed or packaged foods chances are you eating sugar – and for the record even fruit contains sugar!

Food manufactures use many different forms of sugar in their products and some you may not be familiar with.

So you can see that is a pretty comprehensive list. I know some of you reading this might think that some of these aren’t too bad – well I hate to break it to you but your body response to all of the ingredients I have listed here is exactly the same. When sugar (in any form) enters the body – without protein or fat – it is not long before it is then circulating around you bloodstream. If your blood sugar level is too high your pancreas releases insulin that takes the sugar (now in the form of glycogen) and stores it – as fat!! Sad but true.

Sugar is sugar is sugar – you would be best to steer well away from it. Did you know that sugar is 10 times more addictive than heroin?
